A Little Inspiration


Italian architect Aldo Rossi is a multi talented man who also is well know for his drawings and paintings. These pieces have a surreal feeling to them, and their intricate complexity is both delicate and abrupt. Admire them in awe here.


This very creepy makeup tutorial from the girls at Rookie magazine is perfect for those who want to dress up as a cartoon or anime character for Halloween, or just to be extremely unsettling at a costume party. Although I probably would never try the look, it’s intriguing, to say the least. Learn how to do it here.


Neil Winokur brings the spirit of New York through this series of photographs which use iconic items to give a rather clean feeling out of the normally grimy city. I personally really enjoy this series. It reminds me of my childhood growing up in Brooklyn during the summers, thinking everything about the city life was magical, instead of mundane.  Take a look at the series here.


This article talks about something I personally have never wondered about, but found very interesting to learn anyway. The origins of the Siracha bottle rooster. I always really liked the design of the bottle, it’s an elegant little logo often seen on dirty restaurant tables. Learn about it here.
